大畫家深水在母親去世後放棄繪畫，失去方向的他意圖以自己的死作為人生裡的最後一件作品，沒想到意外在陌生之地遇見一名樂天派男子帕多。

帕多聲稱自己是動物國的王子，表示自己正在玩捉迷藏，並且篤定尋找的目標就是深水——但是深水根本不認識對方。

而隨著帕多的糾纏，深水放棄繪畫的原因越掘越深，帕多的過去也逐漸明朗，另一方面，一股未知的勢力正於此時悄悄朝平和的曇天世界露出獠牙……
