I stare out the window;

Outside seems so tranquil;

But I don't think it will.

The raindrops coat everything;

From trees to grass to mats;

I really hope my pets aren't out there,

Especially my cats.

They always seem to tell me,

`Save it for a rainy day`

Just calm down and it will be over,

Just wash it all away...
