為什麼那些苦難中的人類還有如此強頑的求生意志？為什麼繼續生存（縱使當事人已經找不到其中意義就像berserk的主角一樣），絕大部分的人類還是選擇積極活下去呢？究竟死亡裡面有什麼東西使他們如此害怕？死亡其實只是一瞬間的事，哎喲一聲，你便嗚呼哀哉了，你便永遠睡著了，你便永遠無知無感了，你便永遠不痛不癢了，為什麼到了這個生死存亡的關頭，人類還是選擇生存，而不是死亡呢？這是人類天生的固執嗎？這是植根在人類基因裡，不能被刪改的程式嗎？明乎此，若，死亡裡面其實沒有使人產生如此巨大恐懼的元素，那麼這純粹是人類的心理作用嗎，所謂英語的keep the status quo（維持繼續生存這個狀態）？你覺不覺得放不下人倫關係的人有些庸人自擾？其實都是自己心裡投射對其他人的感情（任何形式），然後主觀上想到他們的離去是自己生命中的一個缺失，轉而煞有介事的忽然悲哀起來？覺得有點可笑嗎？覺得我強詞奪理嗎？覺得我冷血嗎？你自己又是如何想的呢？你明白我在說什麼嗎？
