在二十一世紀，人類在某次地理考察中意外解開幾千年前的封印，釋放出某隻古代生物，牠代表着絕望、不幸、災難，所有「惡」集於一身的怪物—多古。牠的出現，加上未知古代生物的侵略，人類文明一瞬間被摧毀，生態人口大幅度下降，面臨滅亡。幸存的人類在地底建立文明，僥倖存活兩個和平世紀。

這是一個關於五個十四歲的年輕人，和一個來自地面世界的神秘少女，面臨人類最後存亡的故事。
