My own personal style of creation is not one of fantastical beasts, or mythological creatures able to withstand countless adventures. My personal style is to give the reader something to think about: whether it be a romantic, comical, or disturbing take on the subject.
As a reader on the other hand, I enjoy journeying into the realm of fantasy. My personal favorite story would have to be George R.R. Martin's masterpiece A Song of Ice and Fire. Not because of the beautiful realm he created, but because of the realistic interpretations of human nature he created.
Also, I obsessively read over what I write and edit my work repeatedly. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but it's only because I want the reader to have the best possible experience.
