"I hate getting groceries." Sehun grumbled as he plopped himself down on the couch.
"Yeah sure when all you did was to stand and whine there like a little kid to Suho about grabbing you a cup of bubble tea at a nearby store." Chanyeol snickered which earned a giggle from their other housemates named Chen, Yixing, Xiumin and Kai. He and Baekhyun put some of the grocery bags on top of the kitchen counter.
"I hate all of you." Sehun pouted as he curled up on the couch while hugging a pillow towards his chest.
"Sehun, you've been drinking bubble tea for a week now. It's like you've been treating it as a normal distilled water. I won't be surprised if your pancreas has given up on you one day." Suho butted in as he placed another grocery bag next to the ones that Chanyeol and Baekhyun have brought in.
Sehun looked pleadingly to Kyungsoo for help but it was no use as his beloved hyung was already in deep thought of what to cook for dinner. "Hyung~" He whined.

Kyungsoo looked at him through his thick-rimmed glasses. "What now?" He asked which made Sehun sigh in defeat. "Suho-hyung is right. You should start taking care of yourself these days."
"Why did I become friends with these Medical Folks?" The younger one rolled his eyes as he lied back down on the couch.
"I'll cook us something delicious so stop pouting." He added while rummaging through the grocery bags.
"Ah, Kyungsoo, you should've just taken Culinary Arts instead of being in the Nursing Department." Chen commented.
"I agree. You're wasting your cooking talent over us." Xiumin half-jokingly remarked.
"It's not really a waste since you guys always finish the food I cook for you." Kyungsoo said in defense.
"Hey guys, is it just me or do we have a new neighbor across the street?" Baekhyun asked while looking out at the window. Kai joined him to watch the newcomers in town unload heaps of boxes out of the truck.
"Yep. We do really have a new neighbor." Chanyeol confirmed and then suddenly, a young lady with long, black, silky hair tied back into a ponytail came into their view. She was wearing a black shirt and A-cut pair of beige pants with some white flat shoes.
"And a pretty one too." Kai commented, not taking his eyes off of her.
"Oh please don't tell me that the new neighbor will be your new flavor of the month?" Suho asked in a rhetorical manner. Kyungsoo, on the other hand, can't help but to shake his head while chopping the tomatoes.
"I would if I was in the mood, to be honest. But dance recitals are coming up. I have no time to date." Kai huffed as he went back into his room upstairs.
"Hey Kyungsoo, I think you should give some of our dinner to the new neighbor tonight." Xiumin suggested.
"Does it really have to be me?" Kyungsoo asked, quite regretting that out of all days he decided to cook, this was the day he chose to do so.
"Well, yeah. Since it might help you overcome your shyness." Suho replied nonchalantly. Kyungsoo froze at the thought of giving the food to the new comer across the street.
Suho tapped his shoulder and smiled, "You'll be fine, Kyungsoo. Your dishes are to die for."
Kyungsoo chuckled nervously. He was not that good with words, hence, he finds it hard to establish rapport with the patients in the hospitals that SM University sends their nursing students into. Sometimes, he wishes he could be like Suho, Baekhyun or Chanyeol who are really superb when it comes to speaking to other people. Man, those three could literally start up a conversation on anything without stuttering.

"Thank you for the food, Kyungsoo!" Chen called out from the kitchen as Kyungsoo slowly walked towards the door.
"Aww, look at our little Kyungsoo, getting ready to go out to give food to the neighbor." Xiumin teased.
"Well, it's not like I have a choice. I mean, Suho-hyung has put me right on the spot. You know I can't say no to the guy." He shrugged his shoulders while carrying a pot of Kimchi Stew.
"I heard that!" Suho's voice came from the kitchen, amidst the loud sound of the water splashing over the the sink.
Xiumin laughed at Kyungsoo's remark, "You mean you can't say no to all of us because you love us too much." He said. Kyungsoo opened his mouth, trying to think of a rebuttal but he realized that his hyung was right.
"I hate it when you point out the right thing." Kyungsoo stated, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Now, go or else the soup will get cold. It's quite chilly tonight." Xiumin cajoled him as he gently pushed him out of the door.
He crossed the street and stopped right at the gate of their new neighbor. Never in his life he thought of doing something like this. He pressed the buzzer by the gate while thinking of what kind of headlock should he give to Chanyeol when he gets back home. He can't do headlocks on his hyungs so he'll just have to do it on Chanyeol, plus he thought that man was annoying as hell.
The gate opened and a young lady stepped out. She looked like in her mid-twenties, her long hair flowing freely. She was wearing a thick black jacket and gray sweatpants with a pair of fur coated boots. Her eyes were like the stars and Kyungsoo couldn't help but to stare.
He has encountered girls before from his Nursing course but he never really had the chance to take a good look at them in class as he was always buried in books.
"Hey..." The young lady greeted him with a smile which made his heart pound even crazier. He just stood there in front of her, staring at her face as if he had seen the most beautiful girl in his life (aside from his mom).
"Is there anything I can help you with?" She asked.
"O-Oh! The stew! Right." Kyungsoo finally came back into his senses. "Uh... I actually cooked some stew... and there's more left so I thought it would be a good idea to share some with you."
Her eyes landed on the casserole and a shy smile broke out of her lips, trying to hide her glee that someone actually bothered to care for her. "Aww... That's so sweet of you." She cooed. "Wanna come inside?"
"W-What?" He stuttered as his brain started re-enacting 100 different scenes of what could happen if goes inside. 'Damn, Kyungsoo just go. It's not like she's gonna bite you or anything.' He thought.
"I said do you wanna go inside? We can eat that stew together you brought for me." She said but Kyungsoo didn't move. "By the way, I'm Bae Seo Hee. What's your name?"
"Kyungsoo. Do Kyungsoo."
