　　大衛收到了約翰兩年前寫的信，並且按照信上的委託，前往紐約，尋找約翰的女兒——伊芳．戈麥斯。

　　當他找到伊芳的時候，發現有個秘密的地下組織——光照會，企圖抓走伊芳。

　　此時一名叫做法瑞爾的男人出現了，他的背後之人——維奧拉，試圖要和大衛做一筆交易，這交易不但牽扯到了失蹤多年了約翰，也與傳說中的不老泉有關。
