It's night. It's quiet.
The creature laid low inside some berry bushes, providing it both physical cover and masking it's scent.
It's dark purple coat blending easilly with the vegetation.
Not really able to sleep yet, it looked around from it's leafy hideout, bobbing it's had around, nose twitching as it sniffs the air.
The serene quality of this new place felt suitable. It felt right. First time that happened since it crossed over. The rest has been a mess.
It can't go back, so it might as well make do with what this new world provides.
The purple creature managed to travel relatively fast, making it a bit more easy-going, at least somewhat.
Just then, a sudden crack of dry twigs and a rustling of fallen leaves. The creature raised it's head quickly.
It's not them. Can't be. It would hear them, smell them, sense them in some way.
Is there a new threat to worry about now?
More running away?
