﹝原文字義﹞「耶布斯」打穀場，被踐踏；「亞摩利」山居者，善說者，公開；「革迦撒」陌生人走近。

﹝文意註解﹞「耶布斯人」：當以色列人征服迦南地時，住在耶路撒冷的原居民就是他們(士十九10~11；代上十一4)。
