【約十二44】「耶穌大聲說：『信我的，不是信我，乃是信那差我來的。」

﹝文意註解﹞「耶穌大聲說」：表示祂心裏急切地發出呼籲。

「信我的，不是信我，乃是信那差我來的」：意即信耶穌就是信神。換句話說，不信耶穌就是不信神。

44至50節的話，乃是主耶穌最後一次向群眾公開的講道，從此以後，祂就不再向猶太人說甚麼話了。所以，這段話可說是主向猶太人講道的總結。
