【約六32】「耶穌說：『我實實在在的告訴你們，那從天上來的糧，不是摩西賜給你們的，乃是我父將天上來的真糧賜給你們。」

﹝文意註解﹞「乃是我父將天上來的真糧賜給你們」：『賜給』在原文不是過去式，而是現在式；這表示不但是父在從前賜人那從天上來的糧，並且父現在『仍然』賜人天上來的真糧。

『真糧』乃是與『嗎哪』相對，表明從前的嗎哪並不是真糧，因為吃過嗎哪的人，還是死了(參49節)。
