"Thank you so much!" Georgetta sighed, relieved. She quickly walked back to her spot, took out her books and started listening to the lecture.
The class passed without further trouble. When the bell rang, the teacher announced the end of class. Georgetta stood up immediately. She still needed to help out at the cafeteria!
However, before she even stepped out of her seat, the teacher commanded," Georgetta please come to my office!"
Did she just hear that? The teacher calling her? Was she still annoyed about her being late? So that she can criticize her personally?
"Quickly!" the attractive teacher was irritated that no one was answering her.
Georgetta couldn't do anything. She was worried while she followed the teacher to her office.
"So... you are Georgetta? The late girl?" the good-looking teacher glanced backwards at Georgetta who was just entering the office.

"Um...yes! I am Georgetta. And yes... I was the late girl." Georgetta replied firmly, except that by the end, she was becoming quieter due to the fact that being late wasn't exactly the most honourable thing to mention.
"Oh! Great! Just keep in mind that next time, don't be late." the personable fetching teacher nodded. Her attitude towards Georgetta somehow became way nicer.
Georgetta couldn't guess why the teacher changed her attitude so fast.
"Don't be nervous!" The teacher seemed to sense Georgetta's tension. The teacher smiled and comforted her," I called you here today to ask you for a favor. You know, every year from the new students, there are only 100 scholarships available. In our department, there are less than 10 students who received the scholarship, and you are the only one who received it in our class! Also, you have the best entrance exam grade out of all the students in our department. Because of that, I want to ask you a favor. Can you please write a reflection about your learning experience? And then, on the day of our department's New Student Event, you can make a speech based on your reflection....."
"But, I...." Georgetta was unsure. She never liked talking in front of everybody and being famous.
Ever since she was born, she always had the best grade in her town. She never participated when there's a big school event. The teachers never forced her to speak because she's obedient and was their favorite student.
But now, it's different! This is a university! There are a lot more students who are better than her! Also, most students who can come to Jeremiah University are extremely rich. If she's not careful, then bad things are going to happen to her.
"Don't refuse! I think this is a good opportunity to let everyone know you. I saw your document, it seemed like you don't have a really good background. So, you can speak at this event to let everyone know you better. This way, less students are going to look down on you, and maybe some will even think of you as their role model!" the teacher sensed Georgetta's hesitation, so she stated directly.
"Okay, I'll go prepare." Georgetta didn't dare refuse the teacher, so she accepted her offer.
After coming out of the office, she ran towards the cafeteria.
