The vampire stood near the gilded mirror.

He cast no reflection. 

The Iron Door creaked open.

'My dear, it is late'.

He turned around, and nodded.

'Prince Daniel is around, since he is married to Lady Charlotte'.

'Why weren't we invited?'.

'Because we're the enemies of King Samael'.

'And, the point is?'.

'The point is, dear, we have to take over New York, together'.

He nodded, and kissed his wife, as they dined together in the Great Hall.
