坐落在祕巷中的神秘燈籠閣，閣內馥鬱芬芳茶香四溢，留著雪白鶴髮的年輕閣主守候著一盞盞明燈，為來客指引前方路途。

漣漪下的燈，又言水燈、照冥燈，為死去孤魂指引路途。

生性內向寡言的俞柊漣自小不善與人交往，學生時期更被同學笑稱透明人，直到父親再娶，家中多了繼母與繼姐兩位新成員才有所改變。

繼姐何庭漪性格開朗直率交友廣泛，出社會後的俞柊漣決心成為像姐姐般耀眼的存在，卻在發生「那件憾事」後一切都變了——他留著淚對燈籠閣主說：「我死去的姊姊想要我死。」
