Margot walked to the dim room.

Seven vampires stood on their majestic thrones.

'Leave now, or die, pale girl'.

'I'm Margot, my King'.

'You! You didn't die'.

'No! You're King Sorensen'.

'You know me'.

'I've read about you in books of the arcane'.

Other vampires whispered.

'Yes. The Countess is with me'.

'No, my King. I am alive', the Countess sighed.

'Then we have a problem'.

King Sorensen leaned forward.

'You're to give birth to him'.

'Yes, my King'.

'The Bloodline has been cut'.

'Dear, take her away from here', said Queen Beatrice.

'But, I'm at your Court, my Queen', Margot stated.

And she waited until the bad news reverberated across New York itself.
