Madeline Koss, ten, sat on her bed, reading. 

She heard the sound of footsteps.

The door creaked open, and her Mom appeared.

'The school bus is ready to pick you up'.

'Thanks, Mom'.

She smiled, and walked out of her bedroom, and followed her downstairs to the front door.

Madeline opened it, and grabbed her bag.

'I'll see you at 3:30 PM'.

'Okay, Mom'.

And she hugged her, and walked towards the yellow colored bus.
