Alice Hardy, the sole survivor of Friday the 13th, is now recovering from her ordeal last year. As she does so, she is stalked by a revenge seeking Jason Voorhees. After her death, Jason heads to the new Counsellor Training Camp, that is owned and managed by Paul Holt, and his girlfriend, Ginny Field, a Psychology major. They then hire a new group of campers in the hot June summer of 1981, unaware of the danger they're in, including the old timer, Crazy Ralph, who tells them they're doomed.
