Hello, My name is Samantha Kim. I work at a Cafe called Railroad Cafe and I have been working there for about 1 year now. I am 16 years old. My mom lives in Kenya with her family and my dad lives in Korea with his family. If you haven't piced it up already, yes I am blasian. I live with my aunt in New Jersey and we have a normal house not too big not too small just average. I help pay the bills for the house if my aunt can't afford to. My Aunt is so hard-working that's why I like to help her out sometimes. Well anyway, let's get to the story!
"Hello Welcome to the Railroad Cafe how may I help you," I said very calmly while everyone was gasping and taking photos of the man that just walked in.
"Hello, can I see the menu dear?" He said. I handed him the menu.
"Can I have 1 Trackside Without the roast beef with an iced coffee?" He said. Girls were yelling "I LOVE YOU!" from outside. I didn't understand this guy but I just continued taking his order.
"What's the name you want me to place this order as?" I said
"Prince Luke," he said
I almost burst into laughter but I held it in and tried not to laugh.
"O-ok "Prince" anything else?" I said
"No that will be all but I didn't catch your name." He said with a tiny grin on his face.
"It's Samantha but you can call me Sam," I said
"Ok then, Sam I guess I should pay now," he said
"Sir DuBois! Bring me my Black Card!" He said causal lacing around the word, Black Card.
"Yes Sir, Right away Sir!" Sir DuBois said in a hurry. He handed him the card and the prince swiped it and put in the pin. He was in a hurry so I gave him his food on Rapid delivery. He took it and ran to his limo and Sir DuBois started the car.
When I was walking home from a long day of work I got a text message from the city council saying that there was a coronation on Friday and everyone had to come. Dang, it! Now I have to do my hair and wear a dress. I know how I can find a cheap dress.
“Gia! I have a Fashion Emergency!” I said. She runs out of her studio.
“Did I hear Fashion Emergency?”
“You heard right! Tomorrows the coronation, remember?” I said
“Of course I remember it’s an excuse to wear a dress,” she said. I laughed
“ I need a light blue dress,” I said
“I actually already have one do you like this one,” she said. She pulled out a beautiful light blue dress.
“Perfect! Thank you! How much?”
“20 dollars,” she said.
“THAT’S IT! Wow” I said
“ Yup here you go bye!” she said in a hurry
That was weird she never rushed me out of her house ever she always likes me around. Mabey she is just busy. I drove back home and went to bed
I woke up the next day to my alarm buzzing like crazy. "OH NO," I said in frustration. I only had one hour to get ready! I ran into the shower and scrubbed as my life depended on it. I rinsed, dried myself then brushed my teeth, and started applying not a lot of makeup. After, I put on my dress and heels and run to my car. I only had 30 minutes to get there but luckily it is only 10 minutes away.
By the time I got there, everyone was there in their chairs waiting for the prince.I sat next to Gia.
"Rocking the light blue dress," Gia said
"Thanks, you look good in purple," I said
"Thank you!" she said
We heard applause.
"Look Its the prince!" She said
Isn't that the man from the coffee shop? I knew he looked familiar.
"Hello Everyone! As you know my name is Prince Luke and today is my coronation but this year I wanted to change it up a little. Today I will pick one lucky girl to come live with me for 3 months and if we love each other she will be my queen!"
All the girls in the room were screaming and jumping and screaming "ME!"
"I want every girl that's under 20 to stand up."
Almost every girl stood up including me and Gia
"Ok, I'll pick you. The girl in the light blue dress." He said
"That's you girl," Gia said
I went up on stage.
"I want you to come and live with me for 3 months is that ok?" he said
"It's whatever," I said
"Ok go home and pack your stuff cause you might be the next Queen!"
