When I woke up, it was night time. I had no idea how much time had passed or where I was. My head was pounding and my leg was twice the size it should be, covered in bruises. I couldn’t get up because I was chained to a table. As I shifted my eyes, I saw the grand, elaborate paint chamber where I was being kept. Paint cans and bottles of booze covered the floor. There were paint splatters all around, engulfing the walls and dingy furniture that hardly decorated the small room. As I tried moving around in the cuffs that bound me, an empty paint can fell off a nearby bookshelf. I froze as the sound echoed in the room. After waiting for a few seconds, I struggled to get out of the binds, moving my feet and hands as much as I could without making any noise. Then a door opened. I hadn’t seen it before because wallpaper was covering it as if it was part of the wall. Out of the door came a tall stranger that looked around my age. He had on a plain grey hoodie and jeans that fit him just right. His hair was perfectly ruffled and curled around his face. The red shine of his hair complemented his striking green eyes that pierced through my soul. I admit, even though there is a good chance he is my kidnapper, he is very sexy and mysterious.
As he walked in, there was a deadly aura about him. I struggled to open my mouth and say, “ I am so glad that you are here! I don’t know why I am here or who captured me, but I just want to get out of here alive. I'll give you money if that's what you want!” Silence was given as my answer.
“You will help me right?” I hoped through my body that I didn’t just make the situation worse. As he approached the wooden table, his eyes plagued my mind. I couldn’t blink, afraid that I would lose whatever kind of connection I felt to the mysterious man. Standing now beside my trapped body, he pulled out a syringe. I didn’t know who he was or what was going to happen but I gave in to it. There was no hope for me to get free of my restraints so I just laid still. If he truly was my kidnapper, then I couldn’t show him any fear because he could be a sadist who gets off on the pain of others. He placed the syringe in my arm veins as I squealed in pain. He missed. He tried again and finally injected the clear liquid into my arm. As everything turned black, he just stared at me with those violent green eyes, tempting me into sleep.
