Wizard land A novel

The young wizard, Marcher, stood near the docks in New York.

He grabbed a wand in his right hand, and disappeared.

For awhile no one noticed the strange event that happened.

Until others knew where he went to.

Wizard land.

Alfred James looked at the map.

'It is not here', he said.

'It has to be be', Caroline Davis said.

'It's not!', Alfred declared.

'Wizard land is not real'.

'Marcher disappeared'.

'And'.

'And he has my ruby'.

'Your ruby'.

'Yes', Caroline shouted.

She calmed down, and used her wand to use as a portal to the new realm.

In the Eternal Tower, Frederick Gorse yawned.

He remembered the time he wasn't going to tell his parents that he could perform magic; he didn't think he was good enough. Not a bad magician, but a terrible one. Practice, he thought to himself. The door opened, and his mother and father smiled at him.

'It's time to go to Wizard land, Frederick', they said.

'Oh, I don't want to go'.

'It's written down on the parchment since 1830', his father said.

'I'm ten'.

'Yes, and it's time for all wizards, and wizards, to go there'.

'Fine', Frederick said.

He hugged them, and smiled.

The magical portal swirled and swirled.

Frederick went inside.

He gasped, and fell into the abyss.

It was awhile before he saw New York.

The crash came suddenly.

Frederick landed on the ground.

He shook his head.

He wasn't injured.

A girl came over to him.

'Are you alright?', she asked.

'Yes, I fell through a portal. I'm Frederick', he answered.

'Karen Marchant', she answered.

'New York is different from the last time I was here'.

'When was that?', Karen asked him.

'Three years' ago. It was when I cast a spell, and I knew I was a wizard', Frederick answered.

'You must leave with me', Karen said.

'What's the matter?'.

'If other wizards, and witches, know you're here, they'll think that you want to take over', Karen said.

'I don't want to', Frederick said.

She nodded, and knew he was telling the truth.

'He must be here', Alfred said.

'I got the spell books', Caroline said.

'We'll find Marcher', Alfred told her.

She nodded, and hoped that he was right.
