Epilogue

The room was cold.

Anne saw a heater.

She turned it on.

When the room warmed her hands, she saw Robert smiling at her.

He swept her off her feet, as they embraced. 

'Love me', he said.

As she did so, the crib rocked back and forth.

Anne moved towards the door.

'I need to go, Robert', she said.

She raced out of the front door, and ran to the cliffs.

'Don't go near there, Anne', Robert said.

It was too late.

She looked.

Robert dragged his wife towards the Mansion.

She was alive.
