To subdue my frantic heart

Which aches with pooling pain

In the lack of your presence.

You are not here

To soothe my morose desolation

In knowing that I never knew you.

Who am I to say that I adore you?

Who am I to care?

What unconditional love flourishes within my decrepit body for you?

How dare I love you.

How dare I feel.

How dare I miss you,

One with mystifying eyes so blue.

Pain and hurt,

Pain and hurt.

It hinders me, Kurt.

I'm not special, never will be.

Numerous people love you,

I am among them, a strayed soul being crushed underneath the mass.

I despise not being born in time to meet you,

To talk to you,

To send you my best regards,

To watch you thrive,

To watch you silently cry,

To hold you tight,

To save you.
