The front door was open. 

Jacob looked at the lamps.

The street was brightly lit.

The memories of last night was a faded memory.

He ate dinner.

On the television was 'Rear Window'. 

Jacob saw the old Sir Alfred Hitchcock movie with James Stewart, Grace Kelly, and Raymond Burr.

It was 9:00 PM when the movie ended.

He locked the doors up, and went to bed in his bedroom. 

The silence filled the house, and the crime filled streets of Wisconsin was more like Chicago, and New York.
