I paused as I walked into the room. “ Dad, who is HE?” I asked pointing to the tall black-haired male. “ His names Luke and he’s staying with us for a little,” my father answered “ alright I’ll be in my room” “ oh good show Luke to it he’ll be rooming with you for a bit.” I smiled “ Okay father” Luke followed me to my room. His bed was already in my room. “ Make yourself at home” His voice was slow and scornful. “Trixie, a family name I guess I saw your mom on the street yesterday” “ Wouldn’t doubt it” I smirked. He scowled as he strutted over to his bed. He meant to offend me but my mom turned trick back in 2015 shortly after she had me. He took his phone off the bedside table and sent some pictures to someone, probably his boyfriend. “ Trixie” my father yelled “ Yes father” “We’re going out to dinner. What would you like” “ steak” “ Alright” when I got back to the room Luke was leaning on the door frame. “ Steak huh guess we’re going to some fancy roadhouse should I change” “ yeah if you have anything trashier to wear” I laughed. “Bite me!” “Yeah, I would if I wanted to contract some terminal disease” he smiled, “Very funny sweetheart.” I started to walk away “ Do not call me that” “ Kids!!!” My father yelled I ran downstairs with a smile on my face. Luke followed behind, when we got to the restaurant and were seated at a table my father asked me “How was school?” I thought for a moment. “Fine dad.” I brought my hand up from underneath the table and brushed his thigh. I felt gross, he was like a skater boy but on meth plus a touch of anorexia. He was so thin and lanky, I truly don’t understand why girls say that they want a skater boy. He was like a mixture of Reid from Criminal Minds and sweets from Bones. My dad went to the bathroom.
He grabbed a handful of my hair and yanked. “Ow,” He smirked “Oh sorry sweetheart.” “Oh fuck you” I punched his bony shoulder “WHen?” He winked. “Oh, the second Tuesday of next week.” “Oh damn, I was really looking forward to it sis.” My father walked back to the table “What were you children talking about?” Luke covered for us by saying we were talking about my classes and said right and elbowed me in the ribs. “Yeah that's right” I rubbed my ribs as I got the salad I had ordered. I knew that there was probably going to be some “oh are you watching your weight sweetheart jokes.” from him. Surprisingly the car ride home was silent, it was about eight when we got home. I took a shower and when I got out I lay on my bed in a towel. My music blaring, I dropped the towel and started to get dressed. The door opened “Oh fuck!” I heard a familiar voice and turned around. His pale face was blood red. He swallowed “I am so sorry” He turned around and shut the door. I was embarrassed as hell. I put on a blue flannel that went down to my knees. I opened the door and he fell in “I should’ve knocked!” He said, still embarrassed and face red. “I should’ve dressed in the bathroom!” I smiled “ Skater boy!” He smiled back “sweetheart!” Stupid by Ashnikko started playing I skipped it, I started dirty little secrets by All American Rejects. I danced around the room singing. Luke looked at me “Would you tell me your dirty little secret?” “Absolutely not” “Damn” He pulled up his shirt and took it off. I spun around and walked to my bed. I sat down and turned on the t.v. I constantly have it on either the Disney channel or nickelodeon. Friends was on nick as I looked back in his direction he was back sitting on the bed and laughing at his phone. “What your boyfriend texting you or something?” “No yours was.” He laughs I gasped “Hah you wish I don’t have a boyfriend.”
