本故事始於２０１６年中旬，於農曆７月首次發佈，為紀念香港最出名嘅鳳樓被將被收購、面臨結業而寫，情節當中滲透住舊香港嘅味道。主角阿Ken因為工作關係經常出入香檳大厦，好奇心驅使下捲入咗 1 : 5 5 A M事件，揭開一個行人止步嘅世界。重製版始於2020年，重新輯錄章節、排版及添加少部份的人物描寫。

備註：本故事與某台劇集《金宵大廈》完全沒有關聯，本故事屬2016年作品，並於2019年12月完成，而電視劇集首次放映於2019年10月。
