就是對人生終極意義之關心：人的存在意義和價值，即人從何而來，人為何而活，以及人應如何活著。

釋義

終極關懷所指涉的對象乃涉及無限、超越、永恆、終極之事，故不會因為歷史、地理、時間、空間之變化而影響其價值。
