朔宇是一位剛到台北霞海城隍廟實習的月老實習生，而朔宇則是他化身凡人的身份，一個20歲在廟外解籤算卦的小伙子。他一直認為月下老人應該是讓有情人終成眷屬，然而實際上他卻在人間看到許多人沈浮於情海當中，被情所困，為愛折磨。某次他巧遇到了凱莉，一位身處婚外情的女子，朔宇決定要幫助她改變未來的感情。究竟朔宇是要幫助她盡快結束不好的婚姻，重新尋覓新的戀情？還是要幫助她修復目前已經出現裂痕的婚姻呢？
