A team of scientists travel to uninhabited planets to test whether they are fit for the tourism company called "Q-Star: Unknown Worlds for your Enjoyment" to use as part of a new adventure package. While on the surface of a planet called Q46-B, a malfunction causes the mechanic's consciousness to become trapped in the body of Link, his multipurpose droid. As they spend more time together their personalities change, until they're not sure where one entity begins and the other ends.
