Staring back at herself

Wishing she could stand tall

Amongst the world

Each passing day

Her fears grow

Laughter echoes 

Something isn’t right here

Throat screaming 

Lungs breathing 

Yet silence and solitude remains

Fading away slowly

Her last fingertip traces on the glass

Going, going

Gone
