Confusion is sorted

Delusion aborted

You’ve caught it:

The feeling that all you’ve been dreaming

Is the result of devils

And their demonic, hypnotic scheming

Leading you astray

But today the path is yours to choose and take

Abate their influence and make that choice

The first truly of your own

That death clock’s toll and tone should be ignored –

This life is yours, and even if it should end tomorrow

Take control of the terms

And reaffirm all independence by announcing:

“My neck shall meet your axe at noon”
