Agent Phoenix: Dying Blaze - 1

The radio crackled.

Jayden seemed to drift into consciousness for a few brief, painful moments as the sound crept into his brain.

It seemed way louder than it should have been, and it rang through his ears like a horrible recurring nightmare.

His eyes opened a fraction of a centimetre, revealing bright white surroundings.

"Am I dead...?" He thought.

"Is this heaven...?" He whispered to himself.

He seethed in pain at the unbearable pain in his chest.

Everything was too white for him, and he retreated back into the darkness.

The radio static gradually became clearer and Jayden started to hear a song.

It was almost familar and in his head he found himself instinctively humming along to the tune.

As the guitar solo rang out of the speakers, Jayden felt something.

A... Memory?

Why couldn't he remember anything?

Perhaps this song... Could help him remember?

Because Jayden had a feeling in his gut that recovering his memories would be crucial - and that there was something muvh, much larger than his own life at stake.

He drifted back into complete darkness, blissfully unaware of how right he was.
