The Birth
For centuries, ever since the creation of all supernatural beings, there has only ever been conflict amongst them. The three main supernatural beings, witches, vampires, and werewolves have never seen eye to eye.
On a dark night in the ancient city of Luna, a woman named Sura, gave birth to twin baby girls. These weren’t Sura’s first offsprings. As a wolf and the wife of the youngest brother of the Alpha, Achilles, Sura had five other children earlier on. Due to the scarcity of wolves in their pack, the married couples of the Moon Pack had to procreate as many offsprings as possible to keep their population in check. Sura already had three boys and two girls, Agron (the oldest), Mira and Lugo (the twins), and Ajax (the fourth child and the third boy), and Thetis (the second daughter and the fifth child). But having five children was not acceptable, for the pack needed to grow. Sura and Achilles tried again for children and they were blessed with twin baby girls.
Sura was the happiest person on that day. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw her two little girls. Achilles came into the room after Sura had given birth and he was filled with joy in his eyes. He held his baby girls and saw the birth mark on their right forearms. Every child born into the Moon Pack had a full moon birthmark on their right forearm.
Just like the rest of their kids, these two baby girls also had the mark on their arms. Achilles held the older twin up and named her Dinah. He then held up the younger twin and called out her name, Dahlia. But as he said that name, the smile on his face started to wipe away as he looked at her birthmark and saw that it had shifted its shape.
