一日，我和P聊到了關於港台小說讀者的性別差異。

P：「…（略），所以台灣小說都是以女性讀者為主。」

我：「對，男生比較不愛看小說，都只看商管/財經等賺錢或工作相關書籍。」

P：「香港的情況則是反轉，女性不看小說，男性看。女性都在看減肥，時裝。」

我：「真有趣，居然還有這樣的差異，我都不知道。」

P：「我覺得看小說的人都是在現實中尋求逃避，所以台灣女性比男性壓抑嗎？香港是男人比女人壓抑得多，所以，看書的男生比女生多。」

壓抑嗎？🤔

後來，我將這段對話告訴我的朋友，姑且稱呼她為「東區周海媚」吧。她認為，台灣女生不是壓抑，而是太夢幻。

「證據就是我媽，她都六十歲了，居然還在看言情小說！」😂😂😂​​​​​​​
