Bossy Cinderella
Once upon a time, there was a kind woman who married a fine man. They both had children to previous marriages, she had Charlotte and Mary who were both very well mannered, and he had a short, bossy and repulsive daughter. Her name was Cinderella and she was very mean and lazy that her stepmother, father, and sisters had to do all the housework, but they did not complain because they were all too scared of her.
One day, the king's son invited everyone to a wonderful ball where he would find the one woman he would marry. Cinderella thought the ball would be very boring but allowed the rest of the family to go. Though none of them had nice clothes, they all looked terrible.
Not long after they went, Cinderella got very bored. She found it annoying not having anyone to boss around, so she sat on the front porch and waited for them. She started to drift off to sleep when her fairy godmother came. "There's a ball going on at the castle. Why aren't you there flirting with the prince? I can get you there if you find me a pumpkin, six mice, and a rat" the fairy godmother explained. "I ain't picking up dirty rats," Cinderella replied. "Go do it yourself!" So the fairy godmother found a pumpkin, six mice and a rat all by herself and turned the pumpkin into a gilded carriage, the mice into horses and the rat into a short, fat coachman.
She then used all of her power to try and make Cinderella look wonderful and told her the spell will only last until ten o'clock. After debating for a while about the time, they agreed with midnight, and Cinderella was sent on her way to the ball.
When she arrived everyone stopped to look at her. The orchestra stopped playing and the guests, including her family, stopped dancing to watch her. Even the servants paused for a moment. There was complete silence until some guests whispered, "my god, how revolting does she look and that dress is just hideous!" but Cinderella walked in with her head held high thinking about how pretty she looked in the dress that her fairy godmother gave her.
All night she flirted with the prince and all night the prince wished she would go away, and he finally got his wish.
Cinderella heard the clock strike twelve and her ugly pink ball gown faded away to an even uglier green frock. She ran out of the castle and all the way back home.
When her stepfather, mother, and sisters came back home they told Cinderella how great their night was and all about the ugly hag who kept hitting on the prince. Too ashamed to tell them the truth, Cinderella told them nothing about what she did last night. The very next day the prince married a very beautiful young lady and no one, except the prince and his bride, lived happily ever after.
