When the three entered, the floor was splattered with white, blue, purple, and yellow flecks of paint. At least, Marc thought it was paint. Pretty sure it was paint though. "So, um, where's this guy you want me to meet now?" Marc said uncertainly. He didn't see anyone in this seemingly endless room. The walls were pitch black, painted with beautiful depictions of galaxies, constellations, and stars. Marc thought it was very impressive, and wanted to give whoever did it credit. "Astrian!" Bix blurted, "Someone wants to meet you!" Bix's voice echoed through the enormous room. There was no response, but Marc heard quiet footsteps drawing closer. From the shadows of the unpainted segment of the room, Marc noticed someone emerging. He looked a bit older than Bix, but definitely younger than Phineas. His hair looked like a galaxy with yellow specks in it, like stars. He looked very shy though. "Oh, um….." the person's voice trailed off. Marc felt bad for barging in like this now. But Bix spoke up, "Hey, Astrian, it's ok! Sorry for us invading, but we wanted him to meet you today! Is it ok, or you wanna see him later?" Marc noticed that Bix really knew how to talk to people, and could read how people were feeling. That's a good skill to have. Then Phineas started speaking, "Let's just get them acquainted, then we can go B." "Well if you could actually care about how he feels, then you would see that he can speak. He just needs time to get to know him!" Bix snapped, "So stop making decisions for us like you're in charge, because you're not! Ok? So just leave him and Marc alone for a few minutes, and then we can move on!" Jeez, Marc did not know Bix could be harsh like that. Maybe it was just him, but Marc sensed something… off. "Ok, fine Bix, then let's go and come back in 15 minutes. Now let's go." Phineas ordered. And with that, Bix and Phineas stormed out of the room.

For the first few minutes, the two boys sat in silence. They were sitting across from each other on a giant rug covered in stars. Astrian was looking down at the floor, fiddling his hands. Marc wanted to speak up, but he didn't want the startle him. But, he spoke anyways. "So, um, you're name's Astrian, right?" Astrian was silent for a solid minute, then he mumbled, "...yes." Ok, that was off to a good start. "Ok, my name's Marc. I was told you wanted to meet me?" Marc said. He wanted to try getting to know him a bit, considering they only had ten more minutes in here. "...yeah..you sounded really cool from what Bix said…" Astrian whispered. Marc thought this conversation was going pretty well. "So, do you like painting?" Marc asked, "I really admire the paintings on the walls." Astrian perked up when Marc said that. "Um, yeah. I mean, it's part of my job, but I really started to like it." Astrian quietly stated. "Well," Marc said, "They're really good! You seem like you've had lots of practice." After Marc said that, he heard a huge BOOM! from across the hall. Astrian and Marc jumped up, glanced at each other, and ran to the room across the hall.
