2079年的人類危在旦夕：環境污染、人口過多、能源枯竭、氣候失衡、隨時爆發的世界大戰⋯一名富有遠見的老富翁認為地球已成為了人類的累贅，人類唯有離開地球的掣肘才能盡情發揮其無限潛能，同時也是為了避免最終自我滅亡的悲慘命運。

為此，他暗中策劃一個「拯救全人類」的「反人類計劃」，之所以「反人類」，是因為計劃將會徹底顛覆整個人類文明有史以來的建樹，然而世界並不會坐以待斃⋯

⋯人類的未來最終會鹿死誰手？

（此為《哈波：總督格蘭托》的重寫版，重寫的主要原因是因為一來設定上的吃書，二來是因為中國政府的性格過於溫馴，不符合現實，三來是因為why not? ;)）
