成吉思汗的墓地所在至今是謎，英國利物浦大學考古學家丹尼爾，擁有一本家族古書，此古書為古代法語(普羅旺斯文)寫成。故事就以雙線並行的方式，一邊記載了鐵木真的童年，另一邊則記載英格蘭王子。丹尼爾負責將古書翻譯成中文，這書隱含了大汗古墓之所在的驚天秘密，也引來內蒙古守墓人的注意，而古書亦有一種魔咒，可令接觸者離奇身亡......
