Have you ever seen a hand grenade tossed into a supernova?
Of course you haven’t, you wouldn’t be alive.
But I have.
The reaction wouldn’t be what you would have expected, or at least it wasn’t what I expected.
The clip was released from the grenade as it was hurled into the explosion.
A cloud of red and orange.
A vibration.
The star dust enveloped the fractal of earthly life in an instant.
Then there was silence.
Whether the result was too intense for my brain to comprehend or the chaos become too much for the universe to handle,
it was peaceful.
I smiled from the inside and laughed silently,
surrounded by nothing and everything all at once.
Every star destroys itself eventually, but I sped up the process.
