DIAMOND

I woke up and checked the clock that read 7: 30, beside it was a note from Ty.

I'm absolutely terrified of what could happen while he's over there, I trust him but at the same time I'm skeptical.

I remember when I used to fucking love this place, the food, the booze, the buildings, lights, all of it, now me being here feels so wrong, shameful, tempting, and disastrous. Its a love-hate.

I know I can't hang on to what I did forever, that'll just be punishing myself, but in a way I feel like I have to, Diamond let that shit go so easily it just seems so unfair to her, it feels like she kinda forced herself to forgive me in a way.

It's now 8:00 on a Monday morning and I'm having a meeting with Mr. Alonzo which apparently isn't as exciting as I thought it'd be. Apparently a company is trying to sue him for selling a faulty product to them for a large sum of money, a typical problem in the world of business. 

  

After going over the whole situation and explaining Mr. Alonzo's options to him, he decided to settle. It just made more sense, in a situation such as this a case is worth what the other side is willing to pay and what your client is willing to accept, no more no less. 

Turns out all it took was 4 hours to go over some case files and explain a few things, that's it, all that's left now is the court date on Thursday. Which leaves me with 2 and a half days off, seeing that it's only 12: 00 in the afternoon.

As I take the elevator to my hotel room floor I call Diamond, she picks up on the 3rd ring.

" Yello"

" red? "

Both of us laugh at the joke, every time I call her she says "yello" so I reply with a random color. 

Its dumb but, its us.
