Why is it that I have to "cover-up" around my own brothers.
That, I can't wear a sports bra around the house but my brothers can walk around shirtless.
That I can't wear what I want cause men can't control their sexual tendencies.
Whistling, making comments about my body, and being downright weird towards me is not cool.
Seriously.
I'm sick and tired of having to think about stupid shit like that when planning out my outfit for the day.
*Looks through closet
"Oh, will there be any weird, pervy men sexualizing my body if I wear this? Oh shit, they're going to do that anyway!"
Yeah, stop looking at me like I'm a plaything for your pleasure.
Stop walking up to me and the first thing you say is "How old are you?"
Not "Hi, how are you," like a fucking normal person.
Stop.
Sexualizing.
My.
Fucking.
Body.
Now, props to those guys who are decent and nice and polite and respectful.
Cause we women are expected to act that way regardless.
We have to be polite when turning down sexual advances.
Polite when turning down a date.
Polite when saying that we have a boyfriend or partner.
Isn't it crazy how guys only leave you alone when you say you are with another man?
It's like men think they own us or something?
Oh shit! They do think they own us!
And, hugs and kisses towards those men who are respectful 😘👏
But the thing is, it shouldn't be a luxury to have respectful men in our world.
I'm fucking scared to walk alone at night now because random men are whistling at me.
What is this, a fucking 90's movie?
Grow the fuck up, seriously.
To all those girls out there who experience this on a daily basis, you are more than your body.
You are intelligent.
Strong.
Brave.
A fucking warrior.
