Still nothing.
So it was confirmed.
Jack was dead.
We had no choice but to leave him at the ruined lab.
Because we had another mission:
Find the remainder of humanity.
And our families - including Jack's.
I haven't told you much about my family yet.
I don't have any siblings; only the best parents in the world.
I know, everyone says that.
But I'm serious.
They're really nice, strict (as good parents should be) and smart.
My mum's a doctor, and my dad an engineer - which is where I get my 'handyman' attribute from.
They're always busy with their jobs, yet they always make time for me.
Plus, my dad's called Adam and my mum Eva.
I know.
Weird.
I hadn't seen them since I'd first been turned into a cyborI wasn't too sure how they'd react to me.
But that didn't really matter; as long as I knew they were all right, that was all I really cared about.
But even if they didn't flip out when they found out I was now a robot, how would they cope with the fact I nearly destroyed the world with a nuclear weapon?
Well, I suppose it would have been better than living a robot-infested planet, wouldn't it?
