I don't want to be cute

I don't want to be loved

I don't want to be perfect

I just want to make sense.

Some time ago

I've lost my faith

now I don't feel anything

unless it really aches.

And it's okay, I don't want to be saved

I don't think it would work for me anyway.

I've hidden my tears

covered the stains on my dress

trying to convince everyone but me

that I wasn't a mess.

Now I want to thank

everyone who fucked me up

you all went too far

you all know who you are.

They say that the only way to cover a scar

is becoming a star.
