        自從把牠帶回家，我允許牠在客廳裡亂跑，允許牠做任何想做的事情，唯一規矩是不能走出家門。

        但是牠總是不聽話，常常衝著我咆哮、狂吠。不過我已經習慣了，畢竟寵物就是這個樣子。

        然而有一天，牠趁著我不在家，偷偷打開門鎖嘗試逃跑，好險笨笨的牠觸動了保全系統，強制把牠反鎖在車庫內。這件事令我非常憤怒，回到家拿起藤鞭毒打一頓，給予嚴正警告，可是效果似乎有限。

        經過幾番思考，我決定打開地下室，將鐵籠裡的屍骨和碎肉塊清理乾淨，並噴上芳香劑掩蓋令人作嘔的腐臭味，然後將牠帶下樓，關進鐵籠中。

        起初，牠奮力衝撞鐵籠，朝著我嘶吼、辱罵。隨著時間流逝，牠漸漸的安分了下來，不知何時再也聽不見牠發出的聲響。

        後來我有了新的寵物，不同於牠，這隻格外乖巧安分。因此，我再也不記得地下室的鐵籠裡，關押著一頭猛獸。
