Write a story where your main character dies in the middle.
Writing advice I was given that inspired this contest: “If your main character dies and there is no way to continue your story, then your story was weak in the first place.” Meaning, your world and people around your main character are just as important as your main character. How do side characters react and complete the story? How does the antagonist change and react? This is a perfect opportunity to practice meaningful dialogue and world building!
