"Goodbye Anna." he said smiling towards me. I tried to grab his hand but it was too late, he vanished.
"Bye Dieter." I said, to nothing. I was alone and I wondered if everything that I had lived so far had been a dream.
His kisses had felt real. His hands had felt real. How come it was not real? I looked around the pier, looking for his image again but the memory of his face had left my brain. I picked my phone and checked my pictures...I was alone in all of them and Dieter, who was Dieter again?
I remembered random Japanese films I had seen in the past and maybe that was it, somebody somewhere had broken the link between my lover and I.
Why am I at this pier anyways? Where am I? Who am I?
Maybe I will never know. Do I even exist?
