我有個親戚有一陣子很迷烘焙，每逢假日就去買材料回家做，再請我們試吃他的試作品。大部分時候做出來的料理（最常做的是塔）還不錯吃，但是有時候實在無法理解他的風味搭配。。。

有一次，他端出了香蒜檸檬塔請全家試吃。

我很喜歡香蒜麵包，也很喜歡吃檸檬塔。但是，兩個加在一起完全是地獄！！

蒜味在濃厚的酸味襲捲之下變成一股難以忍受的奇臭，而檸檬塔應有的清爽酸味也被蒜味污染成腐敗食物般的噁心味道。裡面還加了薄荷葉，這是和蒜味完全矛盾的味道啊！最後，鬆散的塔皮與半液態的內餡在口中攪在一起，變成一坨吸收各種怪異味道的黏糊糊漿糊，吞下去後還會黏在喉嚨上，根本就是凌遲。。。

我只吃了一口就舉白旗了。後來那個親戚自己把剩下的塔吃完了，這究竟是何其恐怖的味蕾和腸胃。。。
