I will still always be

The girl that broke

Like shattered glass on

The cold concerete floor

And I will still always

Be the one who

Had to piece herself back together again

Bit by bit

Day by day

I am still what they made me

I am still the

Shy

Meek

Quiet girl they always wanted

Only to spit on her and treat her

As lesser than the dirt on the Earth

Nothing can change that, I'm afraid

My dear

You are only

Made by those

Who had to break you

First.
