Kiernan's Pov.
"You had a nightmare last night?" I asked."No, why?" she replied. I inhaled." Well, last night you were muttering something about stopping? No, you were telling someone to stop something " I shot back but she did not answer.
I stared at her suspiciously; trying to read her weird expression. I knew she was lying. I wanted to ask more questions, but figured that it might annoy her; so I decided not to.
Flashback
I woke up in the middle of the night only to get disturbed by my sister, snoring. I tried to go back to sleep and I did.
I think an hour later, I woke up again but this time, only to find her muttering something under her breath.
I tried my best to figure what she was saying so I took out my book which I usually keep under my pillow and no; it is not weird. Anyway, I noticed her mouthing of the words and could only figure out this part: stop. Please stop this.

Who was Desdemona talking to when I was not there? Moreover, Why was Mr. Weatherbee talking to her and what did he give her?

Desdemona's Pov.
"You had a nightmare last night?" She asked.
As soon as she says that, the nightmare comes back in my mind.
Flashback
I was sitting in my room, studying. When my mom came in and told me that she was going for a walk. I nodded. And she went out. After some time, I heard the door open, I thought it was my mom, she must've forgotten something. But suddenly, a man enters my room and locks the door silently behind him. I sit up terrified.
"It's okay," he says, "I'm Robert, your mom has sent me here, to look after you." I don't trust him, my mom would've informed me. He places his arm on my shoulder to calm me down, which after some time, slowly goes down my hand.........I don't feel right. "Stop." I mutter under my breath. But, he doesn't. "It's okay." He whispers. "Stop. Please stop this." He ignores me. I open my mouth to scream for help but he quickly puts his hand on my mouth to keep me from screaming, and my scream gets gagged.
I wake up.

Judging from the length of the room and the stylish furniture I think it was a palace.
"No, why?" I lied.
She inhaled."Well, last night you were muttering something about stopping? No, you were telling someone to stop something." She shot back but I did not answer.
She looked at me suspiciously. I knew that she knew I was lying. But, she did not ask me any more questions.
To my relief, the bell rings. We stand up, the envelope still crumbled in my hand, and I walk out of the cafeteria.
As soon, as I am away from Kiernan, I release the crumpled envelope, smoothed it and I open it, I pull out the letter from it, open it, and start reading.......
