This story revolves around a girl named "Rose" who works in a hospital on the night shift in ER. Her life is entirely mundane until one night her father disappears. They were both returning from the night shift when they saw a man at the bus station. When he stared at them .... the protagonist felt intense pressure and loud ringing which made her incapable of speaking. She tried to yell and force her father to run but only she could hear her voice. Her father seemed to not hear her.
