公元2034年。

嚴重的生態污染彷彿成為壓下地球的最後一根稻草。

該年盛夏，在世界各地都下了一場整整連綿三個多月的滂沱大雨，大雨過後異象頻生，各種怪物應運而生。

而這些「變異體」以超乎想像的速度一瞬間改變了地球的人口結構。

⋯⋯

到了2063年，人口驟減的各國臨時政府聚集各地倖存者，正式在太平洋以南附近的南溫帶成立了聯合國政府，並頒布該年為曙光紀年。

倖存者對該地名的稱呼呈兩極之稱，其一命其為伊甸，其一命之——

鳥籠。


在科學家父母的保護下長大，時歌作為曙光紀年後出生的小孩，卻似乎生來就從未感受過末世所帶來的痛苦。

直到研究所被國聯政府封鎖，父母以非法研究變異體為由被監禁。

她在父母的掩護下逃出了伊甸，卻在尋找救回他們的方法途中被變異體咬破頭顱。

再睜眼，卻又在曾經研究所被封的那一天醒來。
